The 'Ida' crochet shorts are S.S.Daley's take on a women's bermuda-style short. The base of the shorts are cut in a soft mid-weight navy suiting wool and paired with an ecru custom cotton crochet layered over the top. A mid-high rise waist allows for comfortability and movement.
The design of the crochet was inspired by the tearoom tablecloths of the 1920s and 30s, a nod to the popular J. Lyons & Co refreshment rooms of that era.
